New Patients - What to Expect

First Visit

The first visit runs about 45 minutes and the main goal is to find out what’s wrong and what it will take to fix the problem.

  • Consultation - we want to know about your current health challenges, past health history, as well as any goals that you might have. Our goal is to develop a relationship so we can address your current issue as well as any problems you may have in the future.

  • Examination - most people have never had a proper spinal evaluation. We will be looking at bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and discs. We want to get to the bottom of whatever is going on with you.

  • X-Ray - We typically take x-rays on all new patients. The reason why we do this is so we can visually see any curvatures, misalignments, postural changes, degeneration, or anything else that could be impacting your health and your results. We use digital x-ray which gives detailed images while using the lowest radiation possible.

  • First Adjustment - If everything goes according to plan, we typically give a “test adjustment” on the first visit. This gets the ball rolling for your healing process and it also gives the doctor an idea of what kind of adjustments will be best for you moving forward.

  • Reschedule - At the conclusion of the first visit, we will schedule you for a follow up visit on the next day or so. The doctor will review your information and come up with a plan to get you back on track as quickly as possible.
